Our Team
We have a team of dedicated providers that are certified in Orton-Gillingham Structured Literacy. They work independently with students to deliver expert language therapy sessions, either in person or remotely.
Heather Galbraith, Founder
Heather Galbraith, CALT, ICALP, is an Intervention Specialist, Structured Literacy Foundations Orton-Gillingham Trainer, and Academic Language Therapist. With 26 years of experience in education, Heather implements the Nationally Accredited Structured Literacy Foundations curriculum. She trains and certifies educators (public districts & private schools) and independent professionals (psychologists, speech pathologists, administrators) in the Orton-Gillingham language methodology and curriculum. Heather and her team at Literacy Purpose, LLC, provide specialized reading and language therapy services using the multisensory, research-based Orton-Gillingham methodology to students of all ages. They also offer small group instruction, remediation at schools, co-teaching, modeling, assessments, family education, collaboration with school staff, and advocacy for academic success.
